Took a boat to Nauru today
Guess what i saw there?
Humanitarian decay
And souls were bleedin’
My first thought was to turn away
I couldn’t see the lost in their faces
Then I wondered what was wrong with this place
It used to be that children were the future
Heard a sermon from the man today
I could hear him sneerin'
Private police, victim blame
5 star living Christians

Then I thought about the human race
Peace and love, where have we hid them?
Went down to the beach today
Guess what I saw there
